Win or Go Home, Game 7 in Boston

Now the series is down to one game. One team will go on to Eastern conference finals and the other team will go home. The Cavaliers in my opinion is the most experienced team. Our best player, Lebron along with Z, Sasha, and Anderson have been together in every  possible playoffs scenario.

Two years ago, the team went to game 7 in Detroit and lost. Last year, they made it all the way to Finals and this year, they are facing the best team in the NBA.

They played them hard in Boston and … [visit site to read more]

What did Gloria James say to Paul Pierce?

We all know what Lebron James told his mom when  Paul and Lebron stumbled out of bounds, near where Gloria James was seated. Gloria sprang into action and gave Pierce an earful, wagging her finger at him.

“I told her to sit down with some language I shouldn’t have used. Thank God today wasn’t Mother’s Day.

“Even though that’s my mother, the commissioner doesn’t care if it’s your mother or your kids or anybody. You can’t allow fans and players to get involved like that. And I can’t afford … [visit site to read more]

Cavaliers Even Series

The Cavs and Celtics will now play best-of-three following another superior defensive performance by the Cavaliers in 88-77 win to even the series at 2-2.

Daniel Gibson had 14 points and a playoff-career-high six rebounds. Joe Smith had eight points and six rebounds
Wally Szczerbiak hit six of his first nine shots on the way to 14 points.

Varejao guarded Kevin Garnett for much of the second half and did it one-on-one most of the time and stayed in front of him on rebound attempts. … [visit site to read more]

Cavaliers vs Celtics Game 3 Bullets

Expect to see a different Lebron James tonight when the Cavaliers face the Celtics for game 3 of the East semi finals.

Lebron James set records of ineffectiveness the past two games.

He shot 8-for-42 and his19-percent average is the worst for the first two games of a series by a player with 30 attempts since Joe Fulks shot 17.6 percent in 1948 with the Philadelphia Warriors.

And it is the worst of any two consecutive playoff games by a player attempting 40 shots since Tom Heinsohn was … [visit site to read more]

Ear Infection might side line Ben Wallace

Ben Wallace might miss game 3 against Boston because of left inner ear infection and allergies.

Wallace played 4 minutes last Thursday night before he became dizzy and asked to come out.

If Wallace can’t play tomorrow, Anderson Varejao would likely to … [visit site to read more]

Will The Real Cavs and Celtics Please Stand Up?

Cleveland Cavaliers vs Boston CelticsAre the real Boston Celtics the team that went 66-16 this season or are they the team that lost three playoff games in Atlanta to move within 48 minutes of suffering the biggest upset in NBA postseason history? Are the real Cleveland Cavaliers the team that routed the Washington Wizards in game two or are they the team that Washington ran over in game three? Within the next two weeks or so we will find out who the real Boston Celtics and Cleveland Cavaliers are, because by that time one of these teams will advance to the Eastern Conference Finals while the other team will spend the offseason trying to figure out what went wrong.

Boston and Cleveland split their regular season series 2-2 but you can disregard the first three games because they took place prior to Cleveland’s big trade. Cleveland’s fourth game versus Boston was a 92-87 road loss on February 27, just five days after the trade. It was a back to back for Cleveland and the team’s third game in four nights, while the Celtics had a day off prior to the game after returning from a five game Western road trip. LeBron James missed the last 4:24 of the first half versus Boston after spraining his ankle but he returned to action in the second half. Needless to say, considering the scheduling, the adjustment period after the trade and James’ injury that fourth game cannot tell us too much about the upcoming playoff series. … [visit site to read more]

Expectations are high for the Cavaliers

Lebron James was very excited to win the first playoffs series three years ago. That’s when Damon James hit the winning shot against the Wizards and Lebron James tackled and the rest of the players followed.

”My first year I was excited I was able to finally get there,” James said. ”Winning a playoff series was the best thing that ever happened to me at the time.”

This time, the expectations are different,  ”Now, every time I work out in the offseason, I am preparing to play until … [visit site to read more]
