Free Wi-Fi At Ohio State Parks

If you’re looking to get away to the great outdoors this summer and spring, but you don’t want to give up your connectivity to the internet, there’s great news.

Many of Ohio’s State Parks will (or already) offer free wi-fi access to registered campers. Here is a list of parks that currently offer free wi-fi:

Alum Creek
East Harbor
Hueston Woods
Rocky Fork
Grand Lake St. Mary’s
Jackson Lake
Dillon
Mosquito Lake
Pymatuning
Mosquito Lake

Eight other Ohio State Parks will be adding wi-fi over the next three years, so if you just can’t leave that laptop behind for a weekend in nature, you don’t have to.

Geauga Lake Tickets - None For 2008 And Beyond

I just thought I’d post a reminder that there will be no tickets available for Geauga Lake this year and beyond. The amusement side of the park which contained rides was closed abruptly after the end of the 2007 season.

Cedar Fair, owner of the property, is in the process of auctioning off rides and planning on developing the land that once housed this Northeast Ohio amusement park.

The adjoining waterpark, Wildwater Kingdom will open daily on June 7, 2008.
