McCain-Palin Musings
I've gotta give McCain credit for his bold pick of Sarah Palin as VP. It's an impressive choice. He placates the Evangelical bloc, he invites disaffected women Clinton supporters, and he finds a way to shake up his moribund campaign.Even as an Obama supporter, I don't think Biden was a tremendous choice. It doesn't speak particularly to the change theme, though it does help on the racial bias and perceived experience/foreign policy fronts.
McCain plus any other old white guy were going to be a challenge to beat, only in the sense that they had the Republican noise machine behind them. This, however, is a game changer.

The race would be much more enjoyable, I must say, if McCain had been joined by Michael Palin.
